Laser cutting is the process of using a highly focused laser beam to cut through a material quickly with a very high amount of precision.  This results in a super high level of detail for finer cutting, more so than with cuts made from a CNC machine.  2D cutting is the simple action of cutting out shapes from flat materials. This is the most common type of cutting procedure and what the majority of customers request.  Materials cut on laser's must be "laser safe", and typically on the thinner side (less than 1/2" thick).  Examples of laser safe materials include wood, acrylics, and leather.  This is the go to service for our clients wanting high detail fine art, or branded small merchandise such as keychains, magnets, etc.
